Licketyspit is being supported by Imaginate and Creative Scotland to participate in the conference and explore possibilities for touring our shows in America.
Our featured show is Hare & Tortoise, Virginia Radcliffe and Deborah Arnott’s fantastic adaptation of Aesop’s fable. Featuring the Bun Brothers, Mrs Doodah and the Spooky Wood! Based on our hugely popular Porridge & Play sessions, Picnic & Play bring Licketyspit’s unique drama-led play sessions for families with children under 12 to venues around the city.
These Licketyspit Playcard Play sessions are free and include games, rhymes, songs and imaginary play, with a delicious picnic. We prioritise families in our Children & Families Network and have been recognised for improving the outreach of our partner venues.
Picnic & Play takes place in some of the most exciting cultural, arts and outdoor spaces in Scotland. 2018 venues included Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, Kibble Palace, Glasgow Botanic Gardens, Lauriston Castle, The Tall Ship and GoMA.
