  • Storyplay for the Planet – 5

    We are offering four sessions more sessions of Storyplay for the Planet online! the dates are: 20th January 2022 27th January 2022 10th February 2022 17th February 2002 All from 4:30-6pm! These Sessions are completely free! And will be held on zoom. This is part of Licketyspit's East Centre Glasgow Life residency, for families with 3-12 year olds in Barlanark, Springboig, Cranhill, Riddrie and Carntyne. If you would like to come and play with us as we explore all about our planet then e-mail Rhianne at rhianne@licketyspit.com! When emailing please include your name, your child(rens) name(s) and age(s) and your postcode. You will then be sent the instructions on how to join the zoom. We can't wait to play with you all! 🌍

  • Volunteer with Licketyspit

    We are looking for volunteers to take part in our intergenerational Storyplay sessions across a range of projects. Our play sessions mainly take place Tuesday-Friday after school and Saturdays (10-4). More information & to sign up click here. Hear from some of our current volunteers!

  • Big Porridge & Play Online

    Every 2 weeks on Fridays 4.30-6pm. Sessions take place on Zoom. The sessions are currently full but please get in touch if you would like to join our Children & Families Network and join the waiting list. For more info click here.

  • Lickety Mums 2023

  • Porridge & Play Tasters – BOOK NOW

    Hello Govan, Ruchill and Whiteinch!! Schools, nurseries, youth groups, family groups and other organisations working with children & families can now book a free taster for Porridge & Play in your area. We have slots available on the week's beginning 29th August and 26th September.   • Storyplay Festival!

    We're holding our FIRST EVER Storyplay Festival next month! Saturday 17th September 11am-4pm Dassie Green (in Glasgow Green, G40 1HU) For families with 3-8 year olds (older/younger siblings welcome). Let us know if you're planning to come by emailing cfn@licketyspit.com. Travel costs provided, jump on a Licketyspit bus or reclaim the cost of your ticket on the day. Contact us to register for the event for all details. We're coming! A celebration of Porridge & Play Hubs The Storyplay Festival is a celebration of our New Scots Integration project Porridge & Play Hubs. Families we've been working with in Cranhill, Castlemilk & Bridgeton will be sharing their new ALLSCOT PLAYCARDS for the very first time.

  • Big Porridge & Play Govan

    We are excited to announce that Porridge & Play is arriving in Govan for autumn 2022! Sessions will run on Tuesday afternoons at the Pearce Institute (4-6.15pm). We will have a 6-week block starting on Tuesday 11th October (4-6.15pm). How can I take part? Families can join our Children & Families Network to get further information and reminders nearer the start of the project. The launch session will be open to all. You will be able to sign up for the following sessions at the launch. If we are over subscribed, we will prioritise families with children between 3-8 years living in the local area. We can’t wait to see lots of our old friends – and make some new ones! More information here.
