After 9 weeks playing together, singing together, exploring together, rhyming together and laughing together we were all looking forward to celebrating together! A ceilidh is an excellent way to celebrate because it is a kind, lovely and relaxed way to share all things creative and to be our wonderful selves surrounded by friends… just like our Licketyspit Porridge & Play sessions on Zoom! And what better way to say thank you than to celebrate YOU! Scotland is incorporating into law the United Nation’s Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), which will make sure that: ⭐ Children’s rights are as important as grown ups’ rights! ⭐ Children will have to be consulted and asked about their thoughts and opinions! ⭐ Children will be listened to and taken seriously! Great, isn’t it??!! To celebrate it, we thought we'd create a Children's Rights Cake recipe for the Scottish Government, and hopped into the Magic Ball to deliver it to Nicola Sturgeon herself! This year we have the most exciting mix of misfits and characters you have ever imagined! This week was all about building CHARACTERS, and what fantastic characters we met at the Seawater Conventions of our three Storyplay City Groups! Thursday 4th February 2021 We love to dance!
