What a delicious feast we had at our Castlemilk Hub celebration!
We wanted to celebrate by all of us getting together on Wednesday to eat & play! We also wanted to tell our Castlemilk pals about all the exciting things coming up for our Picnic & Play sessions.
So, we got the bunting up, we blew up some colourful balloons and we sat round a very exciting looking table of new flavours for all of us to try!
Everyone enjoyed tasting each other’s foods and we even got the recipes for some of the delicious dishes.
There was a lot of chat about our upcoming Picnic & Play trips and many, like Pemi, Fire, Ife and Arwa seemed very excited about visiting Troon beach in June.
Emma was very excited about introducing everyone else to the fabulous Castlemilk Park which it’ll be our first Picnic & Play trip…woods right on your doorstep! She also brought some information so we can get involved in great fun things at Castlemilk Park!
Amina, Sayeda & Kinga were feeling happy about having other family members join us for our celebration! Hooray! The more the merrier!
Ideas on what food to bring for Picnic & Play were shared too. Catherine was talking about having fruit with yoghurt and crushed meringue and Arwa & Celine were thinking about pizza and burgers!
The anticipation grew bigger when everyone got their fantastic LICKETYSPIT CALENDAR 2022!
It has all the details about our sessions so you can keep track on what you are doing with us, where and when! Very handy!
What will our Picnic & Play trips bring?
What adventures will we have at the Science Centre, The Hunterian Museum and the Riverside Museum? What moves and songs will Adie teach us? How many different plants will we spot at Castlemilk Park? Will we make the biggest sand castle ever at Troon Beach? It remains to be seen but what is sure is that together we will have the best time! Cannae wait!
Cannae is a Scots word that means can’t!
