On 15th January 2019, Virginia will be part of a Scottish Children's Theatre delegation to the IPAY International Showcase. International Performing Arts for Youth (IPAY) brings together specialist children's theatre companies and venues from around the world. Licketyspit is being supported by Imaginate and Creative Scotland to participate in the conference and explore possibilities for touring our shows in America. Our featured show is Hare & Tortoise, Virginia Radcliffe and Deborah Arnott's fantastic adaptation of Aesop's fable. Featuring the Bun Brothers, Mrs Doodah and the Spooky Wood! With original music by Tim Brinkhurst and unforgettable songs by Virginia and Deborah, Hare & Tortoise is a universally loved show for the whole family.
Join us for a Porridge & Play Online Taster! Are you in the Cranhill area? Do you have a child aged 3-12? Then you can join us for a completely free online taster of Porridge & Play! Join us for a great imaginative Storyplay session! We will play some of our much loved games and you can find out what Porridge & Play is all about! We are offering four more sessions of Storyplay for the Planet online! the dates are: 20th January 2022 27th January 2022 10th February 2022 17th February 2002 All from 4:30-6pm! These Sessions are completely free! And will be held on zoom. This is part of Licketyspit's East Centre Glasgow Life residency, for families with 3-12 year olds in Barlanark, Springboig, Cranhill, Riddrie and Carntyne.
