Porridge & Play Maryhill
Welcome to the Porridge & Play Maryhill Page! (formerly Ruchill)
Porridge & Play Maryhill is an intergenerational Storyplay project for families with 3-12 year olds in the Maryhill area of north Glasgow. Sessions first started in Ruchill at Ruchill Community Centre, Ruchill Pavilion, Maryhill Parish Church and Community Central Hall. Following the closure of Ruchill Community Centre we moved to Maryhill where we ran sessions at Woodside Library.
The Porridge & Play hub was set up in 2017 as part of our project Big Porridge & Play Glasgow, which is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
With the help of our partners, Storyplay Champions and our friends in Ruchill & Maryhill, we meet for inclusive imaginary Storyplay sessions, filled with games, rhymes, songs, imaginary play and food!

Upcoming Porridge & Play Maryhill sessions:
Our next block of Porridge & Play will take place at Oakgrove Primary School for 4 weeks on Tuesdays from 4-6.15pm
The block will start on Tuesday 30th April and end on Tuesday 21st May.
Spaces are limited so you need to sign up before!
