Our session started with a quick walk from Churchy to go to the Glasgow Women’s Library because that’s how close this wonderful library is! We started off by singing Jelly on His Head and Grandma Grandma! Saba and Colleen were chatting away on the way to the library and were talking about how much they look forward to the sessions. Blog posts are written by André! Week 5 of Bridgeton Porridge & Play Friday 22nd April Hello and welcome back to Bridgeton Porridge & Play! It was lovely to see you again and we loved hearing about what you got up to whilst we had our break! We loved hearing from Leeanne about their family bringing our Licketyspit Playcards to their Gran’s! With Lexi making sure to let her Granny know how to play the games. Saba told us she and her children missed the session and we missed them too! Colleen said they played our games when they were away on holiday! Getting to play outside with our Licketyspit families was so much fun in the sun. We got to play a some of our favourite games like Big As A Bear, Funky Chicken, Ickerickeroo and a new one - Magic Ball. We met funky animals like Nicola’s Slimy Snake, Rayna’s Running Zebra, Colleen’s Big Cat, Mohammed’s Firey Dragon, Alan’s Scary lion, Zaina’s Orange Fox and Moira’s Singing Cow! Blog posts are written by André! Week 4 of Bridgeton Porridge & Play Friday 1st April There was lots of excitement on Friday 1st April at Church House for Porridge & Play! We were all like one big family! Moira & Leeanne asked us, ‘What are we gonna do for the next two weeks?!’ since we will be having a two week break for the holidays!  So we whipped out our Storyplay packs with our Playcards, crayons and notebooks for Reflective Drawing at home! We also had lots of fun information and game sheets to bring some of the magic we have at Porridge & Play home with you this break. We always do Reflective Drawing at the end of our Storyplay sessions so we can enjoy thinking about all the great things that have happened when we all played the games together - The funny animals we invented - the characters we dressed up as - the adventures we had in our balloons - the funny things people said - and all the things we imagined!
