Pomegranate!
Pineapple!
Grass!
Toenails!
POISON!!
This week we dressed up as magical creatures and played Witches Fingers.
Mucky Brew
Feeling witchy, we then made a Mucky Brew with
Orange juice
Tea
Apple
Slime
Sticky wrappers
Baby mice
Cheese for the mice
Sand
and some of Branch’s hair for good measure!
We were so sticky and mucky we had to have a quick shower and dry off.
But then! Sarah found the Magic Ball.
Magic Ball
It took us to America where we bought hot dogs from a vendor and helped him make more.
They were such funny flavours – chocolate and cheese!
We found a red octopus and a pool of freezing water.
Ruby was a bit scared to go into the water but everyone helped her.
So we released the octopus back into the ocean and had a swim with it!
What an adventure.
I wonder where our Storyplay will take us next week!

Reflective Drawing
We almost always do ‘Reflective drawing’ at the end of a Storyplay session. It’s nice to relax and draw & think about what we’ve all done & how we feel about it.
Reflective drawing isn’t about doing a ‘good’ drawing – it’s about drawing whatever comes into your head when you think about what you’ve just done.
But as you draw you realise more about what you thought or imagined in the session. And it’s great to share that with everyone & hear what they thought! So many things go on in Storyplay!

This is the dress up cause I was dressed up as a ghost. Here’s the octopus in the freezing water. Here’s the witch. Fave – everything
Slime!
A witch (in the magic ball). A sun. a rainbow. This is a pink one
That’s the pool when we went in there to swim. That’s all the grass, that’s the ladder to go in and that’s the protective stuff around it. That’s the sun. That’s me and my mum. Fave – the swimming and the magic ball.
This is how I dressed up, this was the magic ball. This was when we played street catch. This was the shocked cat. I dressed up as random Mr Ninja. Magic Ball and dressing up.
So this is the funky chicken and the seagull. The dancing Monkey and the dying fly.
